Life is unpredictable and vehicle faults, or necessary repair work, will generally occur when least expected. And if major work is required, then this can often be costly. Like most people, you probably rely on your vehicle to get to work, or to take the children to school, so having to delay repairs because of affordability can be very stressful. That’s where Payment Assist comes in!
Through Payment Assist, we can help our customers to spread the cost of expensive repair work over several months and with no interest or fees added on. So there is no need for you to delay getting expensive repair work done, or to continue driving an unsafe vehicle until you can cover the costs. With Payment Assist, we can have you repaired and back on the road in no time, and with an affordable interest-free repayment plan in place.
Payment Assist offers a simple-to-arrange, short-term, interest free loan to customers who have an unexpected one-off vehicle repair bill. The loan is paid in four monthly instalments. The first instalment (just 25% of the total bill) is paid straight away and the remaining three payments are paid over the following three months. The Payment Assist deferred payment plan is 100% interest free and there are no fees, charges or hidden costs.
The deferred payment plan is very quick to set up and takes just four simple steps:
STEP 1: When you are ready to collect your vehicle, we will log on to the Payment Assist website, complete your details and enter the total invoice amount.
STEP 2: When your details are completed, Payment Assist will confirm the instalment amounts and, if you’re happy to proceed, all we need is your debit card details (credit cards are not accepted).
STEP 3: You sign the on-screen eSign agreement document, we submit the form and the initial payment, just 25% of the bill, is charged to your debit card.
STEP 4: Payment Assist will send confirmation that you have been billed for the initial payment and that future payments have been set up. Then you’re back on the road!
Your car requires unexpected repair works and you are left with a repair bill of £400 that you hadn’t budgeted for. You pay £100 on your debit card at the time the payment plan is agreed and a further three instalments of £100 around the same day on each of the following three months. It’s that simple!
